Nowadays, there are so many daily and monthly horoscopes appearing online. That is why it is not surprising that many people use them as a guide for their decisions. But if you are one of them, be careful, because decisions based only on a free and generalized horoscope may lead to regret.
Why You Should Not Rely on Generalized Horoscopes
Even if you check the current planetary positions and the zodiac signs involved, it is still not enough to make the forecast accurate.
For example, if you look at the image above, you will see that Mercury is in Sagittarius at 14°20'. Technically, you could say that this is an auspicious time for Sagittarians when it comes to studies, because Mercury is the planet of communication and learning. With this placement, it may be easier to share ideas and learn new concepts.
However, astrological interpretations are not one-size-fits-all. They still depend on the unique aspects of your birth chart. Let’s say your Mercury is in Sagittarius, but it has a challenging aspect like a square. This may bring communication issues. But if the aspect is a trine, you may feel the positive effects of Mercury in Sagittarius more strongly. This is why we cannot base everything on a generalized horoscope. Each person has different planetary aspects.
Your Zodiac Sign Is Not Enough to Know Your Whole Personality
I’m a Pisces. That is my Sun sign, or what we commonly call the zodiac sign. This means that, in my basic personality, I am sensitive, intuitive, and emotional. But that is not enough to describe my whole identity. The Rising Sign and Moon Sign must also be considered.

My Rising Sign is Cancer. This is the sign found in the 1st house or on the eastern horizon at the exact time and location of my birth. Because of this, even though I am a Pisces who is naturally introverted, I can still socialize and sense the emotions of others. My Cancer rising helps me become warmer, more caring, and more approachable to other people.
Moon Sign
My Moon sign is also Pisces. So my emotional sensitivity and intuition are doubled. I can strongly feel the mood of my surroundings, and to be honest, I do not like jokes that sound insulting because I can be quite sensitive. But because I am already aware of this, I have learned how to handle these tendencies, and my natal chart has helped a lot in that process.

If you want to understand yourself better and see the possible events in your life, it is better to get a birth chart reading than to rely only on a generalized horoscope. It is more personal because it is based on your exact date, time, and place of birth.
