We often come across daily or monthly horoscopes online, and many people base their decisions on these. However, if you’re one of them, be cautious—decisions made solely on free, generalized horoscopes can sometimes lead to regret.
Why Are They Inaccurate?
Even when considering the current positions of the planets and the zodiac signs they align with, the forecast often remains inaccurate.
For example, if you look at the image below, you’ll see that Mercury is in Sagittarius at 14°20'. This might suggest an auspicious time for Sagittarians in terms of learning, as Mercury inspires sharp thinking and a love for knowledge. Since communication also falls under Mercury's domain, you might expect ease in sharing ideas during this time.
Astrological interpretations vary depending on the unique aspects in your birth chart. For example, if Mercury is in Sagittarius but forms a tense aspect like a square, it might lead to communication challenges. Conversely, a harmonious aspect like a trine would align more with traditional interpretations of Mercury in Sagittarius. Since different aspects shape individual experiences, generalized horoscopes can't apply to everyone.
Zodiac Signs Alone Cannot Define Personality
I am a Pisces, meaning my Sun sign (commonly referred to as a zodiac sign) is Pisces. The Sun sign represents my basic personality—sensitive, intuitive, and deeply emotional. However, this alone is not enough to fully define who I am, as the Rising Sign and Moon Sign must also be considered.
Rising Sign (Ascendant)

Moon Sign
Meanwhile, my Moon Sign is also Pisces, meaning the Moon is in Pisces in my natal chart. This amplifies my emotional sensitivity and intuition. It resonates with me because I feel uncomfortable with insulting jokes and often get hurt as I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. However, becoming aware of these tendencies and learning to interpret my natal chart have helped me make changes to avoid these challenges.
